In my talk, Creation: its Evolution, I will show how the idea of creativity, once limited to the deity, has evolved to its current almost universal status in common culture, and how this evolution is manifested in the development of Western philosophy since Kant and has led to a major division in philosophy from about 1900, branching out on the one side to the development of the reductionist English-speaking tradition towards the more constructionist forms of philosophy which have emerged over the past century, especially in France, and leading towards the mysteries of postmodernism which I will present as the apotheosis of creativity.
