Using Chat GPT I will undertake an analysis of the question “what it is like to be like” which is a bit like Nagel’s question “What is it like to be a bat”.
Using Socratic dialogue, I will examine ways of expressing likeness and try to judge the value of the Chatbot approach to understanding the world and what the limitations are.
