Bob studied Physics many years ago and has since pursued a career in science and engineering. He developed his interest in Philosophy through organizing and attending WEA Philosophy evening courses for over 30 years and by attending Oxford University weekend courses. More recently he acquired an MA in the History of Ideas and has been helping to run a number of amateur Philosophy groups at which he occasionally gives talks on aspects of Philosophy, usually from a History-of-Ideas perspective
