Jeanne first heard of the work of John Macmurray in 1970 when she attended a residential Quaker study centre near Philadelphia, named after Pendle Hill in England. Since then she has continued her efforts to make his work better known. In 1993 she helped to found the John Macmurray Fellowship. She is a retired computer programmer and has a BA in French.
