Some phenomenological dimensions of the self and artificial intelligence

Will AI ever be capable of reflecting on itself and setting its own goals? If so, how will humans cope with these new phenomena, these unprecedented experiences?

In this talk, to help us answer these questions, we will get to grips with some phenomenological dimensions of the human self and explore their significance in relation to complex, sophisticated artificial intelligences.
